Using the site

Mortal Ascent is an independent music and game project. Contact berg@mortalascent.com with questions. These terms apply to its interactive features. Use them only if you have the legal capacity or appropriate permission to do so.

Respect other players

Do not harass, threaten, impersonate, share private information, post unlawful content, spam, cheat or interfere with the service. Duels require the other player’s acceptance. One browser profile may have one active multiplayer tab.

Nicknames, chat and scores can be public. Moderators may remove content or restrict access to protect the service and enforce these rules. Contact us to request review of a moderation decision.

Content

Music, artwork, software and branding belong to their respective rights holders. Browsing or playing does not grant permission to republish or commercially exploit them; statutory exceptions and open-source licences still apply. See the credits.

You retain rights in your submissions and give only the permission needed to display, transmit and moderate them as part of the service. Share only material you are entitled to share.

Availability and purchases

The site and games may change or become unavailable. Scores and progress have no monetary value and may be lost, including when browser storage is cleared. Purchases and support payments through external platforms are subject to the seller’s terms and applicable consumer rights.

Privacy and legal rights

See our privacy policy and privacy choices. Using the site is not consent to marketing or embedded players. Nothing in these terms excludes liability where prohibited or removes mandatory consumer, data-protection or legal-remedy rights.

Material changes to these terms will be communicated appropriately before they apply. The date above identifies this version.
